Here are some of my favorite poems I found on the web.
She
She walks about in the shadows as though they are
her home.
She lives in her dreary world eternally alone.
She never feels the slightest touch to her face.
She never feels loves gentle embrace.
She cries and no one hears.
There's no one around to listen to her fears.
The walls that surround her are not to be broken.
The words that she speaks are never truly spoken.
She hides away so none can see.
I close my eyes and realize. She's part of me.
Pain
Feelings lost yet found..
search the world go round and round.
Past the stars across the moon..
I'll find them I'll find them soon.
I cry.....yet no tears.
I feel.....no fears.
The world seems to stop....motion lost.
Then start..... no matter the cost.
My dreams are no more.
I don't know what I'm looking for.
Confusion ever lasting.....always knowing....never leaving.
I search but never find. I look but never see.
Why?......Why me?

Never & Then Some
A pretty face, a warm embrace,
is that all you ask of me?
This is a world of never never,
that will never never be.
Welcome into my domain,
A world you've never seen.
and never will again my love
for 'tis a world where you are free.
This is lost.....
My domain.....
My world within a world.
And I could not be in this place
for I am mortal, from sperm
I see it there for it exists
I visit so it must be.
I go there when I'm by myself.
and this is what I see....

So you want to go to the land of make believe,
where dragons fly over the seas.
And knights ride into battle on armored back,
with nothing but their wooden staff.
And faerie princesses sit on the side,
laughing at the foolish pride,
giggling with the fireflies.
And for some reason no one dies.
....I can take you there....
Where children of both young and old,
talk and laugh of fe fi foe
And that jolly man on chimney tops,
who puts toys and candy in your socks.
Where wizards sit and cast their spells,
to protect their king from whatever ails.
All is good when you hear the bells,
and all the stories your grandfather tells
......I can take you there.....
Don't lolly gag follow me.
Second star to the left, under the sea.
Under the rainbow and back again,
Can you keep up I ask my friend.
Faster faster, don't delay.
It all must rhyme in the land that awaits.
At least that's how the story goes.
If you've been listening then you should know.
Now run through the hollow tree,
and watch yourself, mind the bees.
Now fly, you can, don't you know,
just pick up your feet and follow your nose.
.....I'm taking you there.....
Jump in the fire, play in the rain.
Run in a circle till you think it's vain.
Eat some, Drink some, have a good time.
Leg of lamb and glass of wine.
Better hurry there's not much time.
Now slow down. You're going to fast.
Don't pay attention to the hour glass.
It is there for people who care.
In this world time is impaired.

This is my world,
Do you see it?
This is my world,
Can you imagine it?
This is my slumber,
This is my sloth,
This is where I cocoon like a moth.
Can you feel it?
Can you feel my arms on you,
Keeping you in my dreams like a fool.
Keeping you where you'll always be, like you were.
It's all a blur.
In my kingdom,
In my land
you are my lady and I your lad,
we walk in fields, we run in wheat.
we fly through the skies and don't skip a beat.
we walk on water, we swim in white sand.
we lay on the clouds to look at the land.
we laugh about problems cause there are none.
And we live happily ever after.....
.....Being in love.
